Bernkasteler Badstube

The vineyards are mostly positoned a little higher up off the river, from the middle of the vineyard till the woods. Their soil is fine slate that stores water extremely well. Very lively and fresh Rieslings grow here with a racy and stable acidity and an extraordinary potential for development.

The Bernkasteler Badstube comprises six of the best Vineyardsites from Bernkastel: Alte Badstube am Doctorberg, Bratenhöfchen, Doctor, Graben, Lay and Matheisbildchen.
